Above The Sky Inc. is a New York-based
General Contractor, Builder, and Construction Management company specializing in commercial, residential, and new construction. We take responsibility for the construction process from pre-construction planning and estimating through execution and final completion. We bring the experience, organization, and skilled trades required to deliver every project to a high standard. We work with businesses, developers, architects, property owners, and homeowners to turn plans into finished projects. Every project requires coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail and our job is to manage those demands while keeping the work focused on the final result. +Luxury apartment renovations and combinations, full gut renovations, custom single family residences, commercial interior fit-outs for retail, medical and fitness, building amenity spaces, and ground-up commercial construction.
Do you work as general contractor or as a finishes subcontractor?
+Both, depending on the project. On some we hold the full general contract; on others we deliver the interior finishes package coordinated with the client's GC. We will tell you plainly which role suits your project.
Which areas do you cover?
+Manhattan and Brooklyn primarily, and the wider tri-state area. Completed work includes Tribeca, Flatiron, Midtown East, Upper West Side, Chelsea, Williamsburg, Brooklyn Heights, Midwood and Sheepshead Bay.
Can you work in an occupied building?
+Yes. Our Chelsea amenity lounge renovation was completed with minimal disruption while the building stayed fully occupied and operating, working within access hours and protection requirements.
How does pricing work?
+After a site visit we produce a pre-construction budget priced from trade input rather than a square foot estimate, alongside a programme built from real trade durations.
